I recommend Iron fans to click on the link and take a look at this analysis. An awful lot of work has gone in to it. Here is their specific summary for Braintree after reviewing the run in: Braintree: Should be refreshed after their traditional mid-season break, and have a massive 18 games still to play. With 8 games in March alone, the schedule of two games per week could catch up with them; on the plus side, they have finished the season very well in the last two years after similar fixture backlogs, although there are some lengthy trips in the offing to Torquay, Barrow, Gateshead, Wrexham and Southport. The fixture list looks relatively good - Braintree have the third best set of fixtures remaining - so expect them to take one of the remaining two places this time. Prediction: I bet the Football League would love this one: 5th. Read more: www.lincoln.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=434824#ixzz405JuevRI

This is an impressive piece of statistical analysis, worthy of jonw himself. It's also a generous conclusion. One thing he resisted mentioning is that Iron's chances are greatly increased by the fact that they don't have to meet Lincoln again!

Interesting opinion and a very likeable one from a fan of our bogey team. If he's right I feel we will need a couple more goals in us now and again as the season progresses
