You are all invited to attend an urgent All members meeting in the clubhouse this Sunday 6th September at 2.30pm. Please accept our apologies for the very short notice.
This meeting is to focus on one issue only which needs to be urgently discussed. On Monday 31st August the board of BTFC made a proposal to the Supporters Club committee. The board have asked for an urgent consideration of their proposal and hence the urgent nature of this meeting.
The board have proposed that the Supporters Club fund one member of the playing squad for the remainder of this season. The proposal made is that the Supporters Club funds this through our regular £100 draw which has and currently does raise funds to subsidise travel for supporters to all away fixtures.
I and the committee ask all members where possible to attend this meeting, despite the short notice. It is very important that there is a good turnout for this meeting. As we are a democratic organisation it is essential that the membership provide a clear mandate to the committee regarding such a significant proposal. This will be in the interests of all concerned.
