The 5 unbeaten friendlies so far marks the best start to pre-season since 2006-07 season. We won 5 and drew 1 of our first 6 games but then lost the final friendly, 3-0 at home to Hendon.
In the 2005-06 season we were unbeaten in all 9 friendlies, winning 7 and drawing 2. All 7 games against non-league teams were won, while the two home games against league clubs Cambridge United and Boston United were both drawn 0-0. We went on to win the Ryman League Premier Division that season.

Means nothing don't get sucked in by pre season friendlies. Last season the O's went unbeaten in pre season, more than held their own against QPR and Ipswich and scored goals aplenty against everyone else and got relegated.
Results in pre season are no indicator of what's to come on Aug 8th and beyond.

As a young lad can remember my team winning 8 out of 8 in pre season got relegated from the old 3rd Division to the old 4th Division.
