LONG MELFORD BACK ON TOP OF FIRST DIVISION.
There have been three different First Division leaders in the past week.
Saffron Walden Town took over from Debenham LC following a 2-1 success at bottom side Cornard United on Tuesday evening. Joseph Murphy and Craig Calver scored first half goals for the Essex side.
The Blood’s tenure at the top was however short lived with Long Melford‘s Wednesday evening 3-0 win over neighbours AFC Sudbury Reserves edging the Villagers above Saffron Walden on goals scored. Andy Fisher scored twice against his former club
