TOP TWO IN FIRST DIVISION BOTH LOSE
The top two overnight in the First Division both lost 2-1 on their trips to north west Norfolk on Saturday. Leaders Debenham LC lost at Swaffham Town, who have won 7 of their 8 league games this season, while Long Melford, now down to third, fell 2-1 at improving Downham Town.
It remains very tight at the top of the division with just 2 points separating the top 7. Saffron Walden Town and Long Melford both have matches midweek, giving them the opportunity to replace Debenham LC at the top. On Saturday Debenham entertain Saffron Walden Town in the FA Vase.
