just noticed that on the official bss site they have MARK jones down as getting the first 2 goals against boreham wood rather than sean MARKs. they obviously think that is the case as it also stops sean being 2 clear in the top scorers chart on the site.
i couldnt find any useful contact info on their site so i thought i would put it on here knowing official types use the board.

Perhaps that is the reason why Sean was not voted Player of the Month. I think it should have been joint winners for Sean and Nathan. They have both done brilliantly well for us.

Ah, that explains it. I was looking at the goal-scoring list and wondering where Marksy was. I always thought that it was down the referee to write down the goal-scorers during the match and any queries were dealt with after the match. Rather odd that it appears to be the BBC report which is taking priority, although I wonder what their source is.

Blame the Press Association, they compile the data that both the BBC and BSS sites use - they have already been notified of the error and Marksy was getting ribbed about that on Thursday night! Simple answer is score 6 more in September and win this months PoM award instead

Have been on phone today to Non League Paper, and they have agreed that Sean Marks Has got 7 goals so they will amend their charts..
So he is now out on his own as top goal scorer.
Well done sean. just turned a burger for you to go to tiptree. Sean Knows what i mean.. before every game I advise him that people like Stanway, Tiptree,Branthan Athletic have come in for him it seems to do the job..............7 goals in 7 games
Keep it up my son and soon you could be golden boot holder
