Goals from Sean Marks and Jamie Guy make it another exceptional day for Braintree.

Well done lads another cracking result! The next game against Dover will be a true test of how far we've come. They looked a very good outfit when they beat us last season at the theatre of Cress. Come through that with Marksey and the boys firing on all cylinders then the Iron will be BS Premier material this time next year! Stringers Iron Army!!

Another great win. Well done to Rod and all the team. Looking forward to Saturday and the match against Dover who are so far unbeaten away from home, should be a cracker. Read in the paper today that Danny Green played yesterday for Dag&Redbridge and was the supplier of crosses for both their goals. Can anyone confirm that his loan spell with us is over, and did Reece play at Basingstoke and if so how did he perform?

Someone told me there is two Danny Greens at Dagenham? I think the Danny we have is still with us and was on the bench yesterday. Yeah I saw Reece was on the bench, did he get on.....?

Danny Green played for Dagenham & Redbridge yesterday. He was linked with £600,000 moves to Sheffield United and West Ham United over the summer. He's ex Nottingham Forest, Northampton Town and Bishops Stortford.
Danny J Green (as he is known now at Daggers) is the one on loan with us. He's played for Harlow, Billericay and St. Albans among others

Damn - that means we can't sing "There's only one Danny Green, there's only one Danny Green"!

I see from the report on the main site that we reverted to the formation that we had against Chelmsford. I thought that was a one-off because we'd done our homework on their defence and thought they were weak against the long ball. Or did we do the same for Basingstoke?

We were staying with friends about 15 mins drive from Basingstoke, but I couldn't get permission to slope off to the match!
Dover on Saturday will be a toughie - they have a 100 percent away record so far.

Indeed 1672. But have you had a look at our home record?
We fear nobody. Allez les oranges!

I see Rod has answered my question above in today's Braintree and Witham Times. We did without wingers because they had a narrow pitch. I presume that means that Sam and Danny will be back on Saturday.
