Good luck to Rod & the boys tonight. Unfortunately can,t be there but will be at St.Albans on Saturday. If anyone needs a lift please post on this thread with your mobile and I will call you. Does anyone know if Brad will be fit after picking up his injury on Saturday? and is Jamie Guy now back to full fitness? Come on you Iron.

Yeah good luck for tonights game lads. Play like we did Saturday and I am sure we'll be bringing the three points back to Cressing Road!
Not sure about Brads injury. I would assume Marksy's goal on Saturday will keep him in the starting XI for tonight. Seems like Rod prefers to play with the one up top with two wingers supporting. Jamie certainly looked to be back to his 'power house' best on Saturday when he came on! I reckon the Farnborough defenders knew he was about! If I was a betting man I'd say he'll start on the bench.
I may take you up on that offer of a lift to St Albans 4whatitsworth. I'll post on this thread once I've worked out my weekend plans.

I notice adult admitance for tonights game at Maidenhead is £10.........
I didn't think handing over that extra £2 would make a difference but having to break into a twenty rather than giving over a tenner did seem to cause me great stress!!

I have not been able to trace any local radio station providing a live commentary for tonight's match - if anyone else has any luck, could they let us know? Thanks.

Tonights performance was the best I have ever seen Braintree play. They were absolutely superb. ;D
All the goals were really good and the work rate was terrific, closing down everything really quickly. We also passed the ball really well and maidenhead just could not handle it. ;D
The defence also looks really solid and Nathan in goal was again excellent tonight, making a couple of very good saves and his catching was very good as well.
Sam Lechmere got the first goal, Kenny Davis got the second goal and Sean Marks got the third goal. The lineup and the bench was the same as Saturday
Well done Braintree. ;D

Just want to echo what everyone else is saying really. Superb result last night; things are looking very positive for the season ahead. Hopefully we can secure Green's services for a few more months as he seems to have gelled with the team really well. I am only gutted I didn't get a seaon ticket now!
Well done lads, up the Iron!!

Another good result for Braintree. Good to see two Essex sides at the top of the table. August 28th could be a cracker if we both keep up our respective form.

It was an excellent performance by the boys in Orange!! We passed the ball around dominated possession (apart from about 10/15 minutes early in the second half) which was enjoyed by the 6 travelling fans who went!!!

Nice to see the Maidenhead newspaper report. Makes a change when it's not three defensive errors that led to their defeat, although to be fair that was on the Farnborough forum and not a paper. I particularly liked the line 'an impressive Braintree'.
