Just to confirm that the lads will be wearing our new orange & royal kit for today's match with Billericay.
As IFC has already mentioned - he's got lots of replicas available in most sizes!

Not my favourite shirt but good to see a few of the fans wearing it already!

If I remember correctly, the vote was over-whelming in favour - more than 70%

It was indeed chairman, but unfortunately the original design that we voted for was not possible after our kit supplier's problems........ Somehow don't think as many will be sold as in past seasons???

For me the problem is the brightness of the shirt and the awful design. Like Iron In Me Blood says the original design as posted on the site during the vote was a lot nicer and the orange seemed darker. I think the shirts looks like one you'd buy in bulk for a Sunday 11 a side team from the bargain basement section. The colour of the shorts looks wrong as well. Perhaps white shorts may have looked better with the orange top? It looks to me that we've been stitched up by Vandanels fall from grace and they've palmed off there stock on to us. I'm kind of glad I was part of the 30% that didn't vote orange (although it made no difference).
Surely it would have been cheaper to keep the kits from last year? Certainly would have saved on buying orange paint!

The shirt i have know problems with, reguardless if it is not the exact one shown at the time of voting.I have brought mine,as well as a few others had on saturday. With the team entering the pitch i thought nice shirt nice socks, some dodgy boots, BUT the colour of the shorts PANTS. On asking around many fans gave the same reaction to the shorts. Switch the away shorts which are white to match with the orange, and the blue to away to match that kit.

Regardless of what the colour is or the design of the shirt, it is buying one in support of the club and show solidarity with the team. Lets stop all the "twittering " about what looks good or what colour it is and get down to the business of supporting the team and the Club. That means buying a shirt, at the moment it is the only revenue from sales making money for the Club. I bought one and will probably only get to wear it during preseason, blazer will be back on for the league ect. Done it so I am showing support, put bye a few quid each week during last season so the pain of purchase wasn't so great. Let,s all get stuck into this season.

I had to re read this post it sounded rather dictorial, All for supporting your club but If I disliked the shirt then I wouldn't buy it and that wouldn't mean I was any less loyal would it?. There must be some element of responsibilty on the club to chose a shirt design/colour that everyone wants to buy not settle for something second best and expect people to buy it just because it's there.

Fair play braintreeo, always the choice is down the individual, not meant to be dictotorial at all, certainly not my place to give orders, just pointing out that support is always gratefully received. You can't please all the people ect, ect. I too would have preferred the original design and its a case of whats here. Dont suppose a lot of Man U fans like all the strips but they still put them on!!
looking forward to the kick-off.

Dont suppose a lot of Man U fans like all the strips but they still put them on!! Haha! Last time I saw Man U on telly, a large proportion of their fans were preferring Green and white over their trad Red & White. Something to do with a protest over the Clubs ownership. So much success there, yet some are still not happy.
