That was oct 2nd. 24hrs later he threw a paddy when being subbed after 30mins and going 3-0 down at dorchester. Perhaps Robbie Garvey was right to take him off.

Totally agree with you CM7. Discusting, we don't want players at our club with that mentality.

many iron fans knew of this case, as well as the board,if we are looking for angels we would be playing in heaven, Adam is strong willed as his play on the pitch shows. I Am sure he has reassured the board and new manager of his future behaviour and will be a great asset to the coming season. He has been judged off the pitch and paid the penalty, who can say they are whiter than white, when i watch the oranges i want passion fight never say die (within the rules of the game) a fit Adam in the zone quality.

Im not condoning Adams behaviour but there is always too sides to every story and the paper has only reported 1 side(as always).

The paper only reported one side because there was only one bloke charged. The police obviously decided Adam bad broken the law and the other bloke hadnt.
I'm with cm7. I dont want someone who goes around thumping people who upset him in my club. And more importantly, we don't know he wont do it on a football pitch. That will result in him being sent off and us down to 10 men. We may be short of centre halves but he's one we can do without

All you need to know, shirley, is that the player admitted Actual Bodily Harm - he broke someone's cheekbone.... The court would have heard "both sides" before finding him guilty....or are you claiming some sort of miscarriage of justice....

For once I am feel peterfoster has a good valid point, the court wouldve had to listen to both sides of the story. Adam has admitted he is the wrong.
It is a shame because I felt he was a decent youngster who with the right guidance couldve become a great player for the club, but his behaviour off the field has made me never want to see him pull on an Iron shirt again.

Don't condone it but he's been man enough to admit what he did and been punished accordingly. The papers have reported their view of the case as they are entitled to it, but without knowing the exact facts of what happened I don't personally think its right to voice an opinion on what happened, and i think there are a fair few who are too quick to put the boot in to a youngster who has admitted he was at fault.
These things happen in life, its not what you do its how you learn from it that makes you the person you are and everyone is entitled to a second chance - but nobody is entitled to a third one.
If the management team decide that Adam is worthy of a chance I'll back him 100% while he is wearing an Iron shirt.
