I was sad to hear that Kyran has left the club, I think I know the reason why and I don't blame him. Just like to say you were a great player for us and stayed through the recent bad times when few wanted to stay. I think you would have made a great striker, however, hope you find another good club with which you can find success. All the best to you from me.

Why do you think he left? I was wondering if it was because he was being played as a striker when not sat on the bench.

I think the reason why he left was because when we were struggling he was our captain and was first name on the team sheet every game. When Angelo came he lost the captaincy to John White but was still playing. This season he's not been playing and as we all know a football life is short and he just wanted to play. As for being a striker this is something that has puzzled me for years, if as a defender and a great header of the ball (because percentages show most balls played forward in the air are won by the centre backs). Why is it that when a centre back goes up for a corner they struggle to get their head on the ball? We had a player in 2006/9 I think, called Russell Edwards who scored a lot of goals for us as a centre back, so it can be done.
