Massive final game of the season tomorrow in the Conference Youth Alliance, to be played at Witham Town F.C. kicking off at 1pm. Visitors Histon need to win the game by a minimum two goals to capture the title from Brentwood Town. If they did, that would leave them level on both points and goal difference but they would take the title on number of goals scored.
Iron lie 3rd on 36 pts with a goal difference of +23. Fourth place Boston United are also on 36 pts with a goal difference of +18. They are at home to Football CV Reds at the same time. We need to better Boston's score to finish 3rd. If we both win/both lose we need to ensure that Boston's goal difference doesn't improve on ours by 6.

A valiant effort by the Academy this afternoon. I saw most of the first half and the game was of a fair standard. Despite goals from Romaro Dyte and Luke Mallett we lost 4-2. The two goal margin of victory was sufficient for Histon to win the title due to the number of goals scored, after tying with Brentwood Town on points and goal difference.
Attendance: 30
