This has also been posted on the first team site, to increase awareness.
The Academy are holding their open evening next Monday, 4th April, at 6.30pm at Witham Town F.C. This coincides with a rare evening match in the Conference Youth Alliance 'C' Division against AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
The match kicks off at 7.30pm and admission is free. A four page colour programme will be available, and will also be free of charge. As games are usually played on midweek afternoons this is a rare opportunity for Iron fans to come along and support the Academy players just a few miles from Braintree. A larger crowd than usual is expected due to the attendance of families visiting the open evening.

Braintree took an early lead through Kofi Gyebi and dominated the match, peppering the Rushden goal with long range shots. James Makanjuola finally made the game safe late on when he was on hand to tap home after their keeper had parried a shot from Isaac Amoah into his path. Our team was David Leader (sub – Lewis Hawley), Isaac Amoah, Kieron Elliott, Alfie Walker (Flynn Tarman), Henry Graham, Lewis Soraf, Kofi Gyebi, Jacob Gyebi (Elliott Capel), Jack Tyrer (James Makanjuola), Harry Watkins (Palvy Manduakila), Matt Baxter. The man of the match award went to Matt Baxter.
Attendance was 62.
