I understand that a good few of our supporters are going to this one. As usual Dover will offer stiff opposition, fingers crossed and we have a trick or two up our sleeves and wecome away with the points.

Again Iron had the best chances particulary first half and could easily have gone in two goals to good with the home side restricted on both shots on goal and possession.
Second half and the tide started turning with Dover appearing to tire less than our lads.
Dover were down to 10 but rather too late in the game for Iron to capitalise.
In the end the draw was a fair result.

Chris Kinnear's comments are almost libellious. From what I have seen the way the Cowleys behave on the touchline, and the general approach taken by the Braintree players (probably one of the smallest teams in the league) is nothing like the way he has described the game at Dover. The man needs to focus on his job managing and motivating his own team and stop spreading the sort of rubbish he has spouted in the article. Is there a complaints process open to the club through the league structure?

You have to ask what planet Kinnear's on, even a couple of Dover veterans walking with me on the way out said what a good game it'd been, admitting that at half time there'd really only been one side in it - us. Nothing said about it being a brutal affair at all.
In fact the only real point of contention for Iron fans was with the way the referee allowed Dover to slow things up whenever either team were awarded a free kick.
