Hey folks, just wanted to pop by and say well done on the match.
You guys had one of the most tenacious defences I've seen this year and they were a credit to you.
Akinola's goal was insane. Myself and many others actually applauded it was that good. Don't see too many like that in League 2 let alone the conf. Hang on to him with both hands as he made our defence shit it all night.
You arguably deserved a point and could well have snuck a win.
Fair play to those that travelled and good luck for the rest of the season.

Have to fully agree with the OP. First time I've seen an opposition player applauded by the home fans for sublime control of the ball, and and then a few minutes later also a round of applause around the ground after his stunning equaliser. Your whole team were also applauded off at the end by us gasheads. This doesn't happen every week, and I cannot for a long time remember the last time an opposing team got such a reception from our home crowd. Please pass on our gratitude for coming to the men and giving us a great game, good luck for the rest of the season, and hopefully we can buy your number 15 who appears to be a gem of a player at this level !!!!

Gents from Bristol.
Your comments are much appreciated, and considering you've made the effort to log in and write them, it shows your genuine love of the game and respect for other teams. (when it is earned of course)
Our Team does seem to respond to tough challenges, and the deserved reduction of players to 10, certainly ranks as a challenge.
Watching football these days, it so often the fact that fans have very bias opinions of opposition & officials, that they see a different game to the one played. You kind Gents have seen the game from a balanced view, and we appreciate that.
Many thanks to you and your fans who applauded our team from the pitch.
You have said some kind words about Simeon, but let me say, your goalkeeper made a very important save early on. It was a great save, so all credit to him.
I wish you well for your title run in, and like Luton previously, you are in the wrong league.
All the best.

Meanwhile, a Rovers fan has been slated by many on the Barnet forum. I remember they weren't to happy with Mr Cox when they played us here.

I know its a bit belated, but just to say that I too had the pleasure of being at the match on Tuesday. I find it hard to believe that your team are not much higher up the table and challenging for promotion.
I feel that the match was somewhat spoiled by the unfortunate sending off of one of your players.Maybe the ref was a tad overzealous on this occasion.
That said,Your club deserve all the plaudits from fellow Gasheads for the way that they carried the game to Rovers without resorting to `hoofball` as so many teams seem to do in this division.
To reiterate what Gasheadlanders said,"its not every week that we give the opposition a resounding round of applause at the end of the game."
It was fully deserved and justified on this occasion IMO. Respect to Braintree! All the best for the rest of the season.
