SATURDAY'S GAME IN DOUBT Snow and slow thaw causing flooding Tomorrow (Saturday's) afternoon's Vanarama Conference fixture at home to Macclesfield Town is in doubt after snowfall on the Miles Smith Stadium pitch during Thursday evening. With the temperature today hovering just above freezing, the pitch is starting to thaw, but that is leading to flooding as the drainage below the surface remains frozen. With a frost forecast for this (Friday) evening and the Cheshire club planning to leave early on Saturday morning, Secretary Tom Woodley is currently contacting local referees to determine when we can arrange a pitch inspection. More news when we have it.
