Can somebody please explain to me the reason behind the new car parking regulations.
For the FGR match and again for the Ebsfleet match I arrived nice and early (at least 1 hour before kick off) and on each occasion after paying my £2 fee I was refused parking on the main hard standing but was instructed to go through the small gate at the bottom and park in the long grass. This was in spite that the whole of the middle of the main park was empty. When I asked why, I was informed that this was to be kept clear under the instruction of a director.
For the FGR match I accepted this and together with several other drivers went through this narrow gate and parked on grass. Immediately we got on it was obvious with the amount of mud being churned up exit without help was going to be impossible. Most of the drivers started to exit and everyone needed the help of 2 stewards to push them through this gate. But we were still refused permission to park on the main park. So we left and found parking in in the street. When walking back to the ground cars were being parked down the centre of the main park!!!!!
Imagine my annoyance when for the Ebsfleet game again I was faced with NO PARKING ON THE MAIN PARK, YOU MUST GO THROUGH ONTO THE GRASS After the previous debacle I refused and left. AGAIN THE MAIN CAR PARK WAS VIRTUALY EMPTY.
Why does the club penalise supporters who arrive in good time this way.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CAN WE SOME COMMON SENSE IN THE CAR PAR ARRANGEMENTS

It`s quite straight forward. We must never forget without the supporters we haven't got a club and we need to treat our supporters with respect. We need to use the field as an overflow car park and not ask people to park in the field when the car park is empty! All this does is upset the loyal supporters. Let's use some common sense on this issue.
