Our first meeting with Halstead Town this season, this League game was due to be played in August but it had to be postponed due to Halstead Town drawing on Saturday and needing a replay with St Margratesbury in the FA Cup on the day we were due to visit.
With no other games in the Eastern Counties League this midweek, I won't do the normal 3 points below and there are not any clubs within 3 points above us, as the 12th placed club is four points clear of us.
So below just our position and our hosts.
6 Halstead Town Played 12 Goal Diffs 14 Points 23
13 Braintree Town Played 16 Goal Diffs -16 Points 13
This will be our nearest game of the season, even nearer than our home games. Only 6 miles from Braintree to Halstead, shame the first team are playing as we could of had a few over there, but with them hosting former Football League team Grimsby Town there is not much hope, apart from those fans who can't afford four first team home games in a week.
