Thomas Meechan from Godmanchester Rovers and Aaron Turner from Mildenhall Town are now the joint leading goalscorers in the Premier Division with 8 goals each.

Debenham LC’s James Heathcote leads the First Division charts with 13 goals in his 10 games.

FA CUP - EASTERN COUNTIES LAST REMAINING CLUB.

NORWICH UNITED OFF TO LEICESTERSHIRE

Norwich United have been drawn away to Leicestershire side Barwell in the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Cup. It is a tough draw as Barwell play their football in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. The tie is being played this coming Saturday. September 27th.

Ipswich Wanderers made a brave attempt to join the Planters in the next round coming back from 3-0 down at half-time to lose 4-3 to Ryman League Wingate and Finchley in Wednesday evening’s First Qualifying Round Replay. The match at Humber Doucy Lane attracted a crowd of 189, the best for Ipswich Wanderers since they played AFC Totton in the FA Vase in February 2007.
