I'll kick this thread off as I guess that no one really wants to talk about it . Going by the BBC Solent commentary this seemed a rather even affair, we had our chances but failed to cut through. I await the comments from those who went.

Both teams didn't really have goal scoring opportunities but I think we controlled the possession but the referee was stop start, wet pitch both teams were slipping all over the place

The referee did let their goalkeeper get away with so much time wasting. The pitch wasn't helped by their sprinklers being on right up until kick off.

I have to say I am not over fussed by the one nil defeat. Eastleigh were 3rd favs to win the league this year with their signings of, Midson and Constable. I also feel Stuart Fleetwood had a score to settle with us after being dismissed when we played Luton two years ago, for a foul on Mulley if I remember rightly. Looking at Yesterdays results from a neutral perspective 5 home bankers, Barnet, Torquay, Macclesfield, Bristol Rovers and Halifax and the rest of the games could of gone either way. For example Kiddy v Grimsby and Shots v Imps etc. We was just one of those games. Tougher test lie ahead and with a full week to recuperate and plan bring on 3rd place Halifax and leaders Barnet. We have nothing to fear and everything to gain. Take the positives from the game and move on. COYI
