This is the first game in a series of tough games. I wonder are we going to see the team of sh v Bristol and fh v Welling or the one which laboured and splutterd sh v Welling? We'll know at 5.50 this evening :-)

Morning Phil, Quite a few injuries on the iron front. Should be a good game. GASH up front for Kiddy always a hand full. Could have peters back today.

2-0 to the IRON Mulley and Davis. Davis sent off and Cox injured again. Mulley goal could be goal of season.
WHAT COULD WE DO IF WE HAD A FIT SQUAD
5 out today Now plus Cox.

What more can we ask for from this TEAM we support than to see the effort put in by our boys today. It makes me proud to be an IRON fan. As Baz says above when our squad is fit it makes you wonder just what we could achieve on what is possibly the smallest budget in this league.
Each and every one of them worked their socks off today, and although we had some luck with Kiddy hitting the post 3 times they should have learnt a lesson in endeavour and team spirit which our boys have in abundance. Well done Devs and the team. A special mention for Chez Isaac who must have covered every blade of grass today, and put in another outstanding performance.

I don't think this game needs a report today from me the result says it all. Another great spirited TEAM performance. Have to agree Chez did not stop running all afternoon. 2 great taken goals, Mulleys prob goal of the season. If any defender made a mistake his colleague was backing him up. Midfield worked hard and pressed high up the field and the forwards hustled and harried their defence. Bad Points Kenny unlucky to get second card game should of stopped moments earlier for foul against us will be missed for next game. Thought the ref was very poor 2nd half blew too often and thought their 8 and 4 should of had cards lot earlier and very questionable decisions. Up to 8th Ill take that and on to Aldershot on Tues, Now where is the entrance to get in again ? Team Today Nik 8.5 Same great saves to keep us in even if the post helped him 3 times ! Ryan 8- Some solid play from him today Sam 8 - Eliminated threat well coming from the right Mitch 8 - Filled in central defence again great effort put in. Alan 9 One mistake in 90 mins was awesome again Chez 9.5 MOTM Might be small and short but showed great heart and energy, Real credit to club and himself today ! Kenny 8- Only his sending off was bad point , really playing well at the moment. Simeon 8- Worries defenders by running at them and played well. James - 8.5 If he meant it Awesome ! Dan 7.5 - Just drifted in and out again Jordan 8 - Another good display and worked well, Hope injury not too bad
Subs Micheal 7- Did ok needs to pass earlier to team sometimes Steve 6 Ensure things were solid towards the end Ryan C 5 - Put on to wind the clock down.
COYI Hope the crowd at next home game is bigger this Team needs a bigger audience to entertain.
Also in answer to that age old question of who ate all the pies, think the answer came on as sub today for Kiddy ( Gash ) Remember him! Although not sure his hairband will catch on, Well done Bakare for not wearing gloves today too !!

" Kenny unlucky to get second card game should of stopped" - should have!!!!
Good result, but not as good a performance as that against Bristol R. Everyone worked hard again and it just shows what a "team" can do. Kenny should have known better than to put in that challenge when he'd already been booked. Great strike as Mulley's goal was' I can't help thinking that it maybe was a cross. Here's hoping we can put in the same work ethic at Aldershot and not slip up as we did at Welling.

It was a shot. I don't think there was anyone in the middle to pass to - Jordan had just nodded the ball down to him. I got a pretty clear view of it. I think he just saw his chance, had a go and got it inch perfect.
Well worth that extra .5 from Simon, though I agree Chez deserves the MOTM award, with Ryan just behind. It was good to have him back, and timely too, so Mitch could go into the middle.
Great stuff - lets hope we can have some of the walking wounded back again soon

It was good hearing the fans getting behind the team on the BBC Hereford and Worcester match commentary, I'm sure the players appreciate this. Good result and up to eighth and we've had all manner of injury problems. Perhaps it's time to get a loanee in.

Tuesday night poses a few problems..... With Kenny suspended and all the injuries I would go with the following..... Hamann GK Case RB Habergham LB Peters CB Massey CB Brundle DM protection for back 4 - (Matt Paine role) Isaac CM Smith CM Mulley AM Free role behind front 2 Cox ST depending on fitness..., Bakare ST Akinola ST
Bench could be difficult depending on fitness of a few..... Pentney Sparkes Walker Bakare / Cox if not fit Moore!! Maybanks
