Looks an arduous task zipping up and down the country. To my mind some of the discomfort could be averted and not too expensively, particularly if a sponsor could be found. First nothing much can be done about Gateshead on a Saturday, that was always going to happen, but wouldn't it be logical for the team to travel on Tuesday for the Southport fixture and to take only the players plus subs that Devs intends playing, we know that Alan has an organised approach to the fixture backlog by rotating his meagre squad to give players at least some respite. Then on Tuesday night only the players which Alan doesn't intend playing on Thursday night can return home. The bulk of the remaining players where were commitments etc allow could be put up at a Campanile or similar where they chuck a buffet breakfast in, somewhere in the Southport area, same again Wed night. Then the players not involved on Tues can join up for the Halifax game. Short notice, expense and disruption to personal lives are the downside, but I suspect the personal lives of all who travel are already disrupted. I haven't a clue whether the Coach and Driver can stay up, or whether they're committed on Wednesday? if so it could ferry the other players and those with commitments down and up. Just an idea, sometimes a Womans logic works

I think that's something that's been looked into, shame that the large percentage of the players have got to work all week and will be struggling to get the time off for match days. But we are the the mighty iron and will rise above this rather large hurdles put in our way.

The Nuneaton win was just what was needed to set us up for these horrendously close together away trips. Id now settle for 4 points from these next 3 matches, however us being us who knows what will happen?! We're comfortably gonna achieve our most successful ever season anyway! I don't think I could put anything past us now COYI!!

Does anyone know how they are managing? Do they stay up north all week? Are the players doing day jobs? I just cant see how they can possibly cope with such a crazy schedule?
