It's going to be a long hard slog in the second half particularly with Bernard Mensah going off injured just a few mins after the re-start.
Lincoln clear ball off their line - or was it over for a goal?
Lincoln score second through Sheridan on 77mins, game over? It was, roll on Saturday and Aldershot Town.

What a rubbish game. Our boey team beat us again assisted by Daniel Cock ( The Ref) and his inept linesman. How the player can not be sent off for such a rash challenge on bernard is utterly unreal. Bernard has a dislocated knee. Thanks for that. Lincoln are a poor footballing team big and physical and they play to that, very poor and lacking in real quality. I thought we did ok but tiredness crept in and hopefully we can have a few days rest now. We are still in the running so lets get back to winning ways come saturday. COYI

Men against boys!! Out fought & out thought!!! How they managed to keep 11 on the pitch after that leg breaking dangerous challenge I will never know! Hope Bernard manages to recover from this at a guess back with the physio team at watford!! Surely with a packed penalty box of defenders and attackers it's gotta be worth a hard low effort.... If you don't buy a ticket you don't win the raffle!!! The forwards are afraid to pull the trigger..... Sean ' Bambi on ice' Marks spent more time on the deck than running towards goal!!

An ugly side full of big hoofers and little skill. When we did get it down and play; the Imps struggled to cope, but once in the air, they were dominant. Thankfully we do not have to play them again. Those of you watching that weren't in the main stand should be grateful you didn't also have to listen to Waldorf & Stadtler for 90 minutes. Those Lincoln fans were easily pleased praising every touch and shouting out non-stop useless instructions. I think we did have shots (many of which were blocked); but with a packed area; it was going to take something special to get through and when Bernard did get clear he was crudely hacked down. We still can get in to those play-offs.

I think we need to give Lincoln a little praise. They are a big powerful side, something you need in this league. Yes they were a bit naughty when challenging, but some of are boys aren't angels! Having said that the challenge on Bernie was a disgrace and the ref needs a serious look at himself for not producing a red. Thought the lad who scored their second was a decent player, Ryan was my pick for us. The lads will be up for Aldershot. Just wish we could all provide a little more noise to get them pumped; the 20 or so try their hardest but it's like a morgue at the Amlin compared to the BSS days.
