I now don't think that Braintree will play another match until 15 March at Lincoln at the earliest the way things are going, tonight's postponement equals 8 in a row postponed due to bad weather which sure is disgusting and a disgrace, I can't see Kidderminster away or Cambridge, Hyde, Hereford or Wrexham at home going ahead at present, as the bad weather could go on until mid March, so I reckon there might be as many as 13 games in a row postponed due to bad weather, sorry.

Can I point out you (twat)! That we were away to Halifax so how's that our fault? You clearly don't look at the weather forecast do you! Kiddiminster light rain showers on Thursday and that's it so I'm confident Saturday will go ahead and for Braintree I can only see up to Monday and the worst were forecasted is light rain on Thursday so am confident that Tuesdays game will go ahead as long as the forecast doesn't change! Crawl back under the rock you came from and leave us alone, I for one will take great pleasure in your latest statement being proved wrong!

Wills do you think I can have your address so I can write a letter to your Mummy. I can tell her what a naughty boy you have been and maybe she can put a limit on your computer time, maybe even get a job ? Forums are designed for people to express views and opinions on all matters relating to the club, you coming on to not just our clubs site airing your inane comments about letters and weather and predictions is a complete waste of time. If you was to look out of your shell sometime and realise that in the real world the weather has been some what shocking then you may understand why so many games have been called off. Your comments about us dropping down a league etc are ridiculous. This club has fought hard on and off the pitch for many years and our dream of reaching the Football league will happen soon. When we play Saturday and Tuesday I would be fasinated to see where your next letters will be heading. How about one to FIFA about your concerns for the Brazilian football stadiums completion ready for the world cup ?? Or how bout one to Halifax F.c to ask how they expect a Rugby team to play on a sodden pitch on a sunday and have it ready for Tuesdays game ?
Just a thought..

Does anyone else worry that we may get dragged into the relegation battle due to all these posponments? I certainly feel it has ruined our chances of sneaking into the playoffs. Part time players simply can't play three times a week at this level (which it may lead to) and expect to be successful; no time for training or working on the oppositions set up. We are going to be so rusty on Saturday and I expect Hyde may be licking their lips come next week as they search for their second win of the season.
Yes the weather has been terrible and yes our pitch is sh*t but if something isn't done close season I do wonder where we are going to be in a few years time. Do we expect that players as good as Kenny want to play on the Amlin surface week in week out when he could potentially be playing on surfaces that show off his true ability?

Totally agree Mooresy, we have a very good squad of players and all of these postponements could wreck future plans if they decide to change clubs because of the unfortunate pitch conditions, especially as they are predicting that winters like this one and the one last year are going to be a regular occurrence. Although saying that, I don't think it would have made much difference wherever we could have played, had any ground had the amount of rain that we have experienced over the last couple of months it would have been a struggle to get a match on.

We coped ok last season with the same scenario so what is the point worrying about it, we have so many games in hand that eleven draws will get us safe, we will probably win a few in the run of games and some of our opponents will be in the same boat if these cancellations continue, I can see Halifax having problems with the rugby games. No need to panic, we have a good squad lets just get behind them when we have the chance.

[cough] and if our 'part time players' start winning some of our 5/6/7/8/9 games in hand, that's when the fun starts ...
