Sad news! Are Salisbury players full-time? I guess they are and were in Connie South. They look to be a club with Directors who get ahead of themselves.

Their chairman William Harrison-Allan has posted on their forum........
Today we launched Challenge 2000 and with very good reason. The low gates (as well as the cancelled New Year’s Day game) at the Ray Mac has, of course, posed some cash flow issues for the club. HMRC was due a final payment of £10k which has been paid but unfortunately their long winded processes meant that this was advertised in the London Gazette today.
The FA has confirmed that they are satisfied that the club has met their financial obligations, so please be assured that this is just yet another example of the constant bureaucratic nightmares we (the club) have to endure.

Salisbury are indeed a full time side but god knows why when it seems blatently obvious that they can't afford to be! I read somewhere that they thought they would get average gates this season of 2000?! To put it politely I think the odds were always against that when you look at where they are on the map n that they were only averaging in the mid hundreds in their promotion year last season
