HARLOW IN THE CUP ON TUESDAY
Iron stage Essex Senior Cup - Quarter Final on Tuesday evening
As a result of the postponement of the Cambridge match, the Club are now able to stage their Essex Senior Cup Quarter Final match at home to Harlow Town this coming Tuesday evening, 14th January, with kick-off at 7.45pm. We understand that Iron Manager Alan Devonshire, particularly disappointed by Saturday's performance at Woking, will use the match to field a strong Braintree side. Admission for this match will be at a reduced rate of just £8 for adults, £5 for OAPs and £3 for Under 16s.
CAMBRIDGE POSTPONED AGAIN
Cambridge Trophy draw leaves - league match postponed
This coming Tuesday evening's provisionally re-arranged Skrill Premier Division fixture at home to Cambridge United has been postponed for a third time. Fortunately, it's not the fault of the weather this time! Cambridge United drew in yesterday's (Saturday's) FA Trophy Third Round tie and now face a replay on Tuesday evening - with FA competitions taking precedence over Skrill Premier Division fixtures. Although still to be confirmed, it is likely the match will go back to a date to be agreed in February.
