Thank god for that! 3 points in the bag against a poor team. Chuffed for Ryan to get his first well taken goal and I think OG for the second. Not a great performance but all in all ok. We should have punished them more with 10 men and for all the corners we had should been at least 4 or 5 nil. Thought Painey looked off the pace today and couple of wayward passes. Thought we used the wings well today rather than the usual punt up to sean and straight back technique. Lets hope we can get a big crowd on Weds and put in a performance again that warrants a good result. Well done to Ryan again. Come on the Iron !!

Missed this one completely, went to listen to the BBC Essex online commentary and nothing was audible, so another stuff up! Good result today if only on paper. Bring on Cambridge )

Great result by the team today, good bounce back. Enjoy the couple of days off and we go again.

By the amount of possession and attempts of goal we should have had this game wrapped up by half time. The Tamworth supporters around me were moaning about the Hildreth sending off but a bad foul on Jordan Cox when he was running clear followed an infringement just three minutes earlier the referee had no option. In the second half the man advantage was clearly showing and a nice passage of play lead to Mulley passing the ball into Ryan Peters who scored from about 3 Yards. With the Iron increasing the pressure and the Tamworth Centre back Thomas bad mouthing the Iron players and supporters another goal was inevitable and it was poetic justice that it looked like Thomas had just beaten James Mulley to put the ball into his own net. It was good to see Exodus have a bit of a run out later, he looks very strong and should give the team more options. Not a great game but we quite rightly put this team away.

A comfortable afternoon against probably the worst team seen at the Amlin this season. Thought Sparkes was MOTM with loads of crosses from corners, free kicks and open play. Heard journeyman Todd trying to wind up Jordan; pity JC didn't score, but good of him not to rise to the baiting.
