From the Essex FA:
Hi all,
Following conversations with both John (secretary) and Rob (chairman) of Barking today, we understand it is Barking’s plan to admit those supporters who attended the original tie in free of charge.
This is of course extended to those who travelled from Braintree. We would recommend any Braintree supporter attending to bring either a season ticket or supporters club membership to show their allegiance.
Barking are having their floodlights examined and tested tomorrow (Friday) and will update the situation as soon as possible.

That sounds fair. In fact they were talking about that being a probability on the evening.
I was there, but am not a Season Ticket Holder, nor a Supporters Club Member.
They didn't issue entry tickets either, so I hope that they take my word for it that I was there!
Good job though IronWebbo.

have you a shirt or a hat or scarf perhaps? doubt many would go to the effort of buying another teams stuff just to get into a game like that.

Just spoken with Barking Secretary - lighting contractors are on site today, if they can sort the problem we will be at Barking on Tuesday. If not the game may be switched to Braintree. More news when I have it.

Essex FA advise that Barking's lights will be fixed on Tuesday so, on that basis, they are happy for the game to go ahead at Barking's ground. Don't forget - it's free admission to all those that travelled last Tuesday.

From the Essex FA site:
Barking 0-1 Braintree Town, Tuesday 10th December 2013, Mayesbrook Park, Kick-Off 7:45pm, Essex Senior Cup supported by BBC Essex Fourth Round.
Reis Farley-Hearn’s superb second-half strike ensured that Braintree Town overcame Barking to progress into the Quarter-Finals of the Essex Senior Cup supported by BBC Essex.
Farley-Hearn was one of just two survivors from the starting line-up in last week’s abandoned match at Mayesbrook Park as the Iron reached the last eight of the competition for the first time since 2006/07, and he scored the opening goal just as he had done seven days previously. There were no issues with Barking’s newly-enhanced floodlights on this occasion, although a thick fog did envelop the ground during the closing stages.
For the hosts, it was a case of what could have been. Having dominated the early stages of the fixture, forward Danny Cook thumped a long-range effort against the underside of the crossbar just before half time as they looked to claim the scalp of the Skrill Premier side. That proved to be the closest Barking would come to a breakthrough.
It did not seem like it would end that way during the initial exchanges. A largely unchanged Blues almost took the lead in the third minute when Cook nodded Lamar Reynolds’ cross into the path of Dumebi GB-Dumaka on the edge of the penalty area and he fired inches over.
GB-Dumaka latched into Luke Foster’s through-ball in the 11th minute to muscle his way between two defenders but he could not beat advancing goalkeeper Matthew Walker, who again thwarted the towering centre-forward seconds later. Walker then continued his inspired form by turning Nathan Philip’s effort around the right-hand upright following a Theo Ola free kick.
From Ola’s resultant corner, Cook attempted to side-foot home but his shot was blocked on the goal line and, although the Barking front line continued to engage the Braintree defence, the threat became more intermittent. GB-Dumaka flashed a shot wide of the near post having sprinted down the right flank in the 37th minute before Cook’s thunderous 35-yarder thwacked the woodwork late on.
Braintree, too, had their chances late in the first half with Joe Maybanks’ close-range effort blocked by Cook at point-blank range and Perry Flatts seeing an injury-time free kick deflected inches wide of the post, but Barking started the second period brightly and Captain Ben O’Brien smashed a rising shot narrowly over within two minutes of the restart.
In the 50th minute Walker slipped as he tried to collect Thabit Abdullah’s backpass, allowing GB-Dumaka to set up Cook. The striker looked primed to score, only for his chipped shot to land in the recovering Walker’s gloves. On the hour, GB-Dumaka set up Billy Rix 25 yards from goal, but his attempt floated over, and Barking were made to pay for their profligacy shortly afterwards.
Braintree took the lead in the 63rd minute when Farley-Hearn illuminated proceedings with a goal of real quality. Picking up possession 30 yards out, there appeared to be little danger for Barking’s Damos Horvath, but a beautifully-struck, dipping effort flew over the gloveman and into the top left-hand corner to make it 1-0 to the Iron.
The previous match had been abandoned due to floodlight failure with Braintree leading 2-1, but this time the only concern was the fog which, for older fans, may have evoked memories of London’s historic ‘pea-soupers’. There was one anxious moment for the Iron when GB-Dumaka again provided the pass, squaring the ball to Ola for a close-range finish that Luke Clark nodded off the line, but they held on to set up a home Quarter-Final against Harlow Town or Redbridge.
