DEVS STRENGTHENS SQUAD Title-winning centre half - makes the switch to Braintree Iron Manager Alan Devonshire has strengthened his squad prior to Saturday's Skrill Premier Division trip to Alfreton Town. He has added 28-year old centre half Exodus Geohaghon to the squad. The 6'5" defender has played for a number of clubs including Kettering Town (during which time he earned two England C caps), Peterborough United, Darlington and was part of last season's championship-winning Mansfield Town squad. This season he has made a number of appearances for Worcester City before signing for Braintree last night and will be available for selection for the trip to Derbyshire.

From what I recall he lacked a little pace so Deano may be busy! Imposing figure though and at least he won't be cup tied....
(from Wiki) He joined Conference North side Worcester City in September 2013.[54] However his spell lasted just five weeks as he was released after refusing to play in the FA Cup so as not to find himself cup-tied.[55]

The youtube video shows his throw-ins from as far as the halfway line can reach the goal area. Awesome!

Nice one Dev. We don't seem to have a problem attracting players to the Iron.

He also had a loan spell at Barnet a few years back and was hardly used. I also remember seeing him in the seats last season as an unused squad player, but can't remember who the opposition were. Would prefer to see Paine fill in for the time being with EG as cover.
