Another 3 points. And how brilliant is it to see the Iron in the play off places. Let's hope the wins keep coming. Roll on Hyde next Saturday.

A great win by the Iron puts them flying high in the Skrill Conference. An excellent performance from Charlie Strutton whom scored one and hit the post to allow Sean Marks to follow up and score for the second. Strutton seems to be a very bright, inventive and skilful player. The back two of Wells and Massey are having a great season not a lot gets pass them particularly if its in the air. Isaacs continues to Impress as does Matt Paine, it's great to have Mulley back but a shame to see Kenny injured. At the end of the game a Devs punched the air, I thinks he's happy!

I am so proud today to be supporting Braintree, not only a great performance but a fab reult that sees us in 5th Place!!! Another solid defensive display against some good players (Akinde). The midfield performed well, Matty Paine is not the best footballer in the world but his heart gives him that edge and with Chez developing so well it gives us a solid base. Upfront Charlie has a quality touch and a turn of pace that is what we do lack at times. Lets face it 7 goals 9 Points in 7 days is a wake up call to the other teams in the league. Lets keep this consistancy going anyone wanna bet against 12 points in the next 4 games My only sour note of the day and I am sorry to go on about it but it does bug m, and ultimatly this is a forum to discuss good and bad. The Raffle..... Now lastweek I was told that arriving at the ground at 2:45 I could buy a ticket for the Half time raffle in the bar. So after queueing along with the 50 or so other fans to come through the turnstile I made my way to the bar £5 in hand to buy some tickets when the lady behind the bar says you cant buy any and the draw has already taken place. ( For the Half time draw ? ) Looking at my watch it was 2:50. Just to refer back to my previous posts. can anyone please advise what I should do for the next home game. And yes I did also read the away travel section of the programme, but doesnt the money raised from this draw go towards helping with those costs so are we as a club missing this opportunity. Come on you Iron !!!! And please this is not to be taken in any other way than it has been written. I am a loyal supporter and have been for 25 years.

Comfortable 3 points in the end and well deserved. Strutton won MOTM for 2nd Saturday running - who's giving this out, his dad? Thought he was quite anonymous last Sat and missed the best chance of the first half today. Wells & Massey were solid again and Sam did well coming in at right back.

A thoroughly entertaining encounter with the right result. I don't know about other peeps but Wrexham midweek and then Alfreton sixth placed prior to kick off made me nervous for the team, I needn't have been.
Where's that chap who used to describe Alan devonshire as being dopey along with other things, he's gone quiet.

A great 2nd half performance after a quiet 1st half. While I agree that there were a number of candidates for mom thought Strutton did what all good strikers do and popped up with the goal when we needed it. ( as well as having a hand in the 2nd). He looked a different player after the goal and chased down everything. Think Sam Griffiths looks a good prospect and was particularly impressive in difficult circumstances v Barnet. Finally chuffed with a goal for Dan Sparkes. Really think he can make an impact as the season progresses.
