Sorry, I think I've given you bumm information. The link on the Braintree v Southport page which says, "Live Commentary" just takes you back to the main commentaries list, and there seems to be none listed.

Was a decent result in that we got the 3 points but Christ it should have been more! That was the most one sided 1-0 whippings I've ever seen! The bbc stats are quite accurate that we must have had at least the 20 shots on target that they suggest. I think there must be a genuine thrashing to be dished out by us soon!

Todays View. The Good. A great three points in the bag, A decent crowd for a average game, Chez Issac's best performance to date, Charlies home debut looks a real talent, James Mulleys attacking runs, A good clean sheet solid defence and great to see Devs Smiling. Not so good Was Deano injured? why was he not forward for any corners when they left one player upfield. Our shot to goals ratio needs to improve 20:1, Teams like this we should be beating 3 nil they were well quite frankly poor and look relegation fodder to me. And no bloody raffle tickets again at 2:45 !!! aaaarrrrggghhhh. Anyway Tuesday should be a stiffer test for us and looking at the table even Alfreton next Saturday will be a test of our metal. Well done today team.

The reason for the tickets not being sold is quite simply as a result of the draw being run by supporter who want to get it sorted in advance of kickoff so that they get to watch the whole match.... I am sure they are open to suggestions for how else they could maximise sales and revenue and also open for an extra pair of hands to help run such initiative!!!

I don't normally reply to posts - buut I will this time. I would advise "ironmansimon" to read his BTFC programme - especially the away travel part. Draw tickets are available up to 2.40pm and why we have a draw. 50/50 tickets can be purchased from either myself behind the turnstles (near the sweet van) or from Simon Scott in the clubhouse bar.

that does seem counter productive though as a large number of potential customers come along after that point. surely a number of tickets could be left with the turnstile operators who will be there until the start of the game at least? they presumably have to also drop the gate money off somewhere when they are done and so could easily drop off the draw stuff too.

Guys please I am surprised the most talked about passage from my thread was about the raffle tickets. I was just saying thats all and clearly I am not in a minority. So from what you are saying is that when i pay for my admission i can purchase some raffle tickets then ?? . Look like many people I admire the time dedication and entusiasm people show for this club, I would love to help out more but with three young 'ironites' under the age of 3 and a job that means I can only get to the game 15 mins prior to kick off.I am a little restricted. I was just trying to get as much money imputted into the club as poss. Make sense ??
