Simmo has left Braintree with best wishes from everybody at the Iron. He has teamed up with old manager Rod at Stortford.
Nicky has helped Braintree move up in football circles and scored some wonderfull goals....ie Woking away. 60 yds.
Thanks from all of us and your always welcome at our clubhouse.
Dev's waved the 7 days so he could sign before deadline day.
New players trained with 1st team last night on trial. Dev's looking at their fitness.

Bit dissapointing to lose him as he's had some great games for us but his opportunities this season were always gonna be limited. Hope he does well at stortford

All the best at Stortford Nicky. Always gave 100% when playing for us, and just maybe we'll see you next year at the Amlin in the Conference Premier.

Little bit of a strange decision but I guess his opportunities were limited. Good luck Nicky.
Did make me giggle reading their forum that some poster believes our bubble is bursting (because Nicky has left). He/she suggests that Marksy and Paine should follow suit. What an absolute mug. 9th in the Skrill Premier or 8th in the Skrill South...know where I'd rather be playing my footie.
