TEAM: McDonald (SUB: Hamann), Peters, Habergham, Massey (Griffiths), Paine, Symons, Daley (Isaac), Davis, Marks, Holman (Bonnet-Johnson),Mulley (Carney). GOAL: Marks Att:326
On the most Easterly ground in England, Iron again put in satisfactory performance. Sean Marks poked us ahead in the second half from a low near post cross from the returning Luke Daley, and had a quality second strike ruled out for offside.
Although we were seldom troubled, Nick Hamann again proved what an excellent acquisition he is with a couple of outstanding saves. Lowestoft equalised a couple of minutes from time with an unstoppable free kick into the top corner.
Another good work out on a hot day.
I have no news on Luke Daley, official or otherwise. However, he played today - going straight into the starting X1 - and with the season just a week away I would be surprised if he didn't feature at Hereford.
Shame there was no Matt Whichelow today after his brief return on Tuesday night. He wasn't just another statistic at Watford, he really made a difference to them, and in truth at 21 deserves a much bigger club at this stage of his career.

Welcome home Luke. I think Lowestoft are always a competitive club.
