Surely we will have the upper hand in this game..... We know the pitch conditions n if we can get 3 points we will depending on other results lift ourselves halfway up the table!!
We have to play an attacking entertaining game n shoot at the goal with as much power n accuracy as possible at every opportunity as the keeper may well lose his footing.....

All the best today, looks like we could dodge a bullet regarding the weather. I've been watching a rain band on the radar while you lot have been tucked up. It's been moving very slowly northward from the south coast. The rain is as close as Broomfield by the looks of things, but has all but stalled completely and appears to be weakening. Good luck anyway, should be a good game. Sounds as if Iron In Me Blood's got the right idea - sign him up as a coach before he get's poached!!!!

It is a very big game today! At their place at the start of the season they completely outplayed us and especially were very good down the wings, so we may have to watch out for that today.
Come on Braintree!!!

Good Result today, Three much needed points. I am however becoming a bit uncomfortable at Devs use of the loan market. Bradley Dack brought in to sit on the bench - what's the point of that?. If Braintree are going to bring players in they need to be good enough to improve the team.

A very handy three points thank-you very much. Though I listened to the BBC Shropshire commentary of the game, it was hard to read the game through them - I've not heard so much yak yak about so little in ages. They were giving the impression that Telford were on top, yakked through Braintree possession, then ended up by saying Braintree just about edged the game.
With a winter freeze forecast I'm pleased we've been able to get some games in. Hopefully Fridays televised match with Grimsby goes ahead.
Well done the team.

This was a really big result today! against a pretty good team. Nathan done some good saves in the first half to keep them out and thankfully we saw it out in the second half despite them scoring 2 wonderful goals.
Hopefully this is a massive 3 points towards safety!
Come on Braintree!!

From my lofty position I do get to see a lot more of the play as opposed to the those on the terracing and I can say that some of the work on and off the ball was very good, though it has to be said that passing on the pitch is hampered at times, having said that, we were quicker to the ball often as it stalled in the mud, Telford to their credit battled well and agreed their two goals were well taken but in open play the Iron edged it and resolute defending was the key today, I thought Paine had another good game in the midfield/defence position and Holman went unrewarded for all his efforts, great work rate, can pull the trigger but his sights are in need of adjustment!!..Kenny Davis seems to have got his mojo back and the Kama is good with the whole of the dressing room. Overall much needed points and lets hope we can carry this forward to a very tough home game against Grimsby, still Friday night football at the Amlin, who'd a thought it. Well done to Aln and the lads.
Come on the Iron.

A brilliant 1st half goalkeeping display by Nathan and a little bit of lady luck (about time) plus all round effort by the TEAM ensured we came away with all 3points.
Thought Telford certainly had their moments but for once decisions and the run of the ball went our way.
