Have just viewed the FGR match highlights and have to say Ryan and the club were definitely badly done by. First tackle - probably a booking, but for the second yella Ryan did win the ball fairly and squarely as match caller Gordon has said. What a way to reward a defender for what was a brilliant tackle and retrieve. Living in the land of video ref's with rugby league, football gets a bad name over bad refereeing decisions. Time we introduced technology to the World game? ?

When I saw the tackle initially through the mist on the evening I thought it was a very poor decision. But now having looked at the video replay although coming up with the ball ,Peters appears to get man first and in the referees defence he was in a good position to see clearly what happened. Only a one game ban for two yellows and a more than adequate replacement in O,Connor to come in so not much harm done.
As for video referrals might happen in Internationals and Premiership games one day but you would have to ensure every game at every ground has the same equipment and it would be too costly for lower league clubs.

Agree foot on top of ball chances are a foul. Would expect Pat to play in at RB. Baldwin is left footed and normally plays left back or can play left midfield. Pat would be my starter for that spot.
