Our one (and only) home Pre-season match is the friendly against Grays Athletic FC XI (of the Isthmian (Ryman) League Division 1 North)....on saturday 4 August 2012......3.00pm Kick-Off......Gates will open at 1.30pm...

This is a major fund raising day for the reserves with all monies / profit to go towards our costs of playing in the Thurlow Nunn League (Eastern Counties) Division One......

Match Day Admission: - £5.00 Adult & £3.00 for Over 60 / Under 16's........

If you are unable to travel and watch BTFC play their final pre-season match at Met Police FC come and watch us..........

Can someone give me some background information regarding Team Braintree, and why the change in name from Braintree Town Reserves?

Apparently the Thurlow Nunn League don't want to become a league for the reserves, waifs and strays of other Clubs. So a certain seperation from the Mother Club, if only basically cosmetic has occurred.

Thank you to all who came to our friendly on Saturday 4 August 2012 - BTFC Reserves drew 1-1 with Gray Athletic FC in an entertaining friendly encounter......I was glad the weather (rain) held off.....

The match attendance was 69.
