Three out of three, can't be bettered woohoo! A goal in each half from Sean Marks and Tommy Tejan-Sie saw us home. A tough game at Kingston & Richmond on Tuesday. We can do it!

2 very good goals today. ;D The first goal was fantasic with a perfect cross in from George and a good header from Sean and the second goal was a very good finish as well. Disappointing that Sean got injured doing a silly tackle with the keeper that he was never going to win. Just hope the injury isn't too bad. And also it looked like we had 2 other injuries with Mingle and Peters, but they didn't seem too bad.
Fantasic that we have a perfect start and we can keep doing very well, if we keep playing the way we are. ;D

Another good result and good all round performances from all areas of the pitch. There was no sitting back on a lead and letting the opposition dictate the play. Instead it was good entertaining and sensible attacking play and defending when they had to. Bring on H & R on tuesday night.
Well done robbie and lads. Keep up the good work.

Thought Peters and Bruce were awesome at the back. If we don't concede we don't get beat.

A fair report from Maidenhead and a good display from the Iron. Not the best we have seen and its sure that we will have spells in a game where the game plan is upset and it will take a bit more time for the team to gel and settle, having said that substitutes seem to keep the ship steady,as opposed being thrown on in desperation, the sort of tactics when all else has failed, so if the game goes awry for a few minutes due to change caused by injury to a player as yesterday when Marks went off, I'm sure with a little more experience and confidence in each other, that part of the game will improve.
Having said that its good to see the boys dig in and maintain the fitness to the end, I always look at the players with hands on hips, good sign of a player labouring, not many Iron men doing it, I counted six on our opponents towards the end of the first half, the amount of rash tackles, seemingly going unpunished, showed Maidenhead couldn't compete with our pace.
The "hoof & hope" tactics engaged by a lot of teams in this league coupled with trying to spring the offside trap, will see our ground work and pace counter it with good wing and byline work, our dead ball situation counters work well with a number of the goals scored so far by this .
A big well done to Robbie and the whole team.
Even BBC Essex is now looking our way, reporter Ben Fryer was at the game and I have had a chat to Glenn Speller and things in the coverage department are improving, lets give them something worth covering to the exclusion of all our Essex neighbours.
Come the Iron.
