Braintree Town manager Robbie Garvey is refusing to set his new-look side any targets ahead of the new Blue Square South season.
Not wishing to be negative but in plain English, Robbie appears to be saying he's not confident that his side are going to be a success and would rather have a bob each way on them.
Surely, most ambitious Managers set targets and aim for the stratosphere before the campaign kicks off. Thats not to suggest that Robbie should go making Justin Edinburgh style gaffe's by forecasting "we'll win it" (the league).
In my opinion, we should be setting the play-offs as our minimum target.
