bobrob back again? here is my wish list for the coming g season. i wish that we could play more pass and move football rather than the Gary Owen style of last season. 1,2's are a great way of attacking. I've seen the players do this when warming up before a game but don't do it in the match? i wish that the players we have had more confidence in themselves to get control of the ball and pick out a pass even if it is a short one. i wish that the players take the field super fit and confident and wanting victory, i didn't see that last season at the games i attended. i wish that we showed a bit more trickery at set pieces in dangerous positions. last season we just had a shot at goal. i would like to see 3 or more players shaping up to shoot and maybe jumping over the ball so confusing the opposition I'm sure you all know the thing i mean . i wish that Nicky Morgan would change his hand kicking of the ball. maybe try to kick at a lower trajectory like Paul Robinson? i wish that we could stop conceding late goals, i read a post a while ago that the late goals we conceded last season cost us 29 points. to end i wish all of the players who have moved on the best of luck with there new clubs except when they play us. i wish all our new signings a warm welcome to the braintree town family and that they are part of our championship winning side at the end of the season.

I wish Ryan Moran would stop hoofing it forward all the time, apart from that nothing else.
Oh wait, promotion...

Hi bobrob. I wish all those things too, and also hope to see some width in our play and not all the balls going down the middle of the pitch. Too easy for opposing defences to anticipate. Not sure where it may come from as we now have no Louis Riddle on the left, and no Billy Burgess to overlap on the right. However I am sure Robbie will be aware of this and hopefully has plans to provide us with exciting and open play this season.
