This has stirred up the passions amongst us 'ricay fans, if you check out our Forum. Not because he's coming to Braintree; nothing wrong in that. But many feel that the club stood by him for two years whilst he was out of action with a broken leg, and that moving on as soon as he's fit again is.. err.. poor form to say the least.
I guess there's also a bit of suprise that you'd take a chance on someone who's more or less unproven since returning from such a serious injury.
Nothing official yet then?

I do remember Matt playing for us for a few games. I think as an Orient youngster on loan. Has also played against us as a Ricay player

According to our Manager, Lynvall is a commanding, vocal, centre half who organises well and wants the chance to play at a higher level. He did well at Leatherhead before spending most of last season at Billericay. According to Uncle Graham, the man who makes money out of the Club by maintaining some obscure football game Lynvall (and I quote) "is meant to be very slow and was released by Billericay". I knows whos view I respect. But, then again, Uncle Graham would probably have described Russ Edwards as very slow ... [sigh]

I think he is confused as on one post he says Lynvall is very slow and on another he asks what he is like.
I go with what the manager says.

I've heard he's not the quickest player around but not sure how good he is. Never seen him play before, I hope he's a good player and has a long stint at Braintree Town FC and I wish him (and all of the new players) good luck

I've seen Lynvall Duncan play a few times last season, no better than average I'm afraid. Was probably punching above his weight a little bit in the Ryman Premier, more suited to Ryman 1

Ive also seen him play a few times. I wouldnt say he was punching at Ryman Prem level, but in my opinion he was distinctly average in the ryman prem and will struggle against better player sin the south. He is ok in the air, but against a tall decent forward he will struggle. I jus feel that we did well in the season when we got to the playoff final as we had extremly good centre halves like russ, and i dont think Lynvall is anywhere near as good as russ.
Just my opinion.
