Haha, and was a goalkeeper. Ryan Peters is a very good player, saw him play for Brentford reserves a few times and Bailey-Dennis has been on loan to Halstead and Felixstowe&Walton this season. Very big lad.
Welcome to both players

So much inside info, sorry, facts - think I'll wait for Lee's version. Anyway, nothing wrong with solvent mid-table obscurity, if that's the best next season brings.

I'd settle for mid table next season. Dont want to be negative but i dont think we are good enough to push for a playoff space.
I havent seen anything of the 2 new signings but playing at halstead.... cant be that great, but i hope im wrong.
Come on Iron!

I'd settle for mid table next season. Dont want to be negative but i dont think we are good enough to push for a playoff space. Is that based on last seasons squad or are you hazarding a guess on next years? The only thing we do know about next years squad is that half of the players are yet to be signed. Unlike you, I remain upbeat about our chances and looking forward to a return to form of previous seasons. ;D.

Braintree, form? play-off place? Naah. Forget all about them little ol'Irons. Just like 2006/07 & 2007/08, they'll be lucky to stay up. Let 'em forget all about us!

btfc2006, Bailey-Dennis was only on loan to Halstead. The Colchester United youth team were nearly all sent on loan to various clubs across Essex & Suffolk. It wouldve been an experience of playing first-team football for him. And, as Garvey said on the website he nearly joined Northampton Town before us but their relegation curtailed their interest, so he obviously has ability.

I think the key is to look for who the manager is at Halstead Town and what else he is involved with in football

Matt Game (as i said) and Lynvall Duncan (who is meant to be very slow and was released by Billericay) looks like Jason Broom is having an impact

adam bailey dennis should be a good signing for you guys. as a colu fan, i was suprised he wasnt offered a year as a pro after watching him look comfortable at reserve level. hes about 6'3 maybe 6'4 and personally i think his best position is as a deep midfielder, although hes always touted as a centre back. moves a bit like greg halford if you saw him in the play offs.
