Just like to say thanks to IW for his very reassuring message on the 'Gutted' thread. A very thoughtful and pragmatic response to us (including me) doom mongerers. It sounds like the squad will actually be bigger next season. I think the points made were very valid and it is fair to say a few of the players were becoming stale at Braintree last season. Lets hope Burgo and Louis do reconsider the ' offers on the table' as Mark is the only official one of the famous rumoured three to have left. If you are reading this Mark thanks for all your service you have given the club over the years, I shall remember quite a few exorcet missile goals from that trusted left peg well...........lets look at next season with optimism hopefully we will get some new signing official news soon and that will re-kindle the Iron Faithful's enthusiasm for next season........see you on the tannoy for 2009/2010..........which reminds me its that time of year to select the tune for the players to run out to...........let me know you thoughts...........

lets face it Ash, you only pick the music you like. IMO Braintree's choice of music is the worst I have heard on my travels. Of course it is only my opinion, but I have heard others say the same. Bring back "I love you Braintree" & "Always look on the bright side of life". I am sure others out there can think of some good ones too. Ash, the vocals are good though. Just give me time to get my draw ticket out of my pocket, & put my glasses on. About half an hours notice will do!

I always think 'Fanfare for the Common Man' is good to run out to. Or is there something suitable by local boys Prodigy. Probably not 'Smack your bitch up' though )

Try 'Centerfield' by John Fogerty - baseball song but relevant.
