Just a quick heads up for anyone already suffering withdrawl symptoms with lack of live football - the Ladies team are at 'home' to Royston Town on Sunday and following Thursday night's 2nil win at Arlesey require just a draw to make it four consecutive league titles in their four season history.
With work having started on the Cressing Road pitch the game is being played at Colchester United's Shrub End training centre, kick off 2pm.
Boadicea Way, Shrub End, Colchester. CO2 9BE
If they are able to get the point they need they'll be promoted to the Eastern Region Premier Division - Level 4 of the women's pyramid.
Your support would, as always, be much appreciated by the ladies and fingers crossed they can secure some silverware.

Thank you very much Lee, this year has been significantly more difficult than past years but that just makes winning the league even more satisfying. To face the other four teams at the top of the table in five games over the last nineteen days has meant we couldn't take anything for granted - and to win all five games (scoring 20 and conceeding just 2) has been nothing short of amazing.
As with everything, we couldn't have done it without the fantastic support of the club as a whole but specifically the board of directors, Andy, Chrissy and also the fans - and we now face the chance of a local derby with the 'big club down the road' next year as well (not bad given they've been around for nearly 20 years longer than our ladies team)
