This is quite a different question to the one posed earlier.
Over the years various Iron teams (men and women) have faced teams from 39 of the 92 current Premier League & English Football League clubs.
How many can you name?
The answers will be posted here at the weekend.

Remember watching Wealdstone playing at Watford, Neil Grice scoring for both sides

I will add Arsenal, Norwich City, Millwall, Chelsea and Gillingham! (26/3: edited to update the list!)Crystal Palace, MK Dons and Watford all played against Braintree Town Ladies. (Were Peterborough Ladies connected to Peterborough United at the time?) (27/3: edited again to include the above!)
My final contribution (for now!) is that I think Peterborough United men's team have played at Cressing Road anyway, as have Fulham. Added to the 22 named by oranjeboom, I think that accounts for 32 out of the 39! (28/3: edited to include the above!)

I can offer Cheltenham, who only stopped for one season, 2015-16, won the league in a canter, but failed to beat Braintree: 1-1 at their place and 1-0 here; Crawley, who were then in the Conference and Braintree in the Ryman League, a 1-0 win away before the club’s first ever FA Cup first round appearance at Shrewsbury; and Brighton, in a friendly after Alex Revell had gone there. How often is a visiting player announced over the tannoy as ‘the one and only, the great…’? Or cheered when he scores against the home team, and then cheered again when he goes off? But then he was ‘the one and only’

Alex was a class act and wasn't it the one and only George Borg who brought him to the club?

In addition to Tom Woodley's Exeter City from the grounds thread - Charlton, Wycombe and Brentford should take us up to 39!

All the above are correct, although once again I've miscalculated!! There are two more to find in the next two hours.....and we aren't talking ancient history here!

Welcome back Dan! Looking forward to seeing you on here more often.
Manorism came up with Wycombe earlier today, so there is still one more to find. You aren't a million miles away though.......
