The reserves lost 3-2 to Essex Senior Leaguers Takeley this lunchtime, in a game played on the 3G at Braintree Leisure Centre.
At this stage there is no game in midweek, but the management team are trying to arrange a game.

Are not the reserves playing the Rovers at Haverhill on Friday 28th?
They did play on the 3G pitch and got well beat by an attractive footballing opposition. The good point is that heads didn't drop and they were probably pleased to score three goals.

In a change to the advertised game, Iron played away to Haverhill Rovers on Friday evening and lost 6-3. They had lost five players (Aldridge, Seal, Evison, Dyson and Webb) to the first team friendly at Lowestoft. Tomorrow's friendly with Hadleigh is off. Next up is an away match with Heybridge Reserves on Monday 31st June, k.o. 7.45pm.
