Was it due to my PC that the first 25 minutes of the commentary didn't appear? I could get commentaries on other BBC Conference matches but Wrexham was just dead, until it suddenly appeared, after our two goals had beeb scored! Of the bit that I heard I felt the Welsh commentators seemed reasonably fair and kindly disposed to us, commenting favourably on our play and players, and noting that we were all part timers, with probably the lowest budget in the Conference, and the difficulties of making long midweek journeys such as that when you have another job to do. Good discussion here about why that goal was allowed: www.leaderlive.co.uk/news/126777/wrexham-fc-manager-s-rage-at-referee.aspx

From what baswaldsmate sais about forest green it kinda makes you glad they will probably flop again this season. Though what has ironmanson got against barnet? What have they done to us? Lol Mate nothing against Barnet at all just think any club that thinks they will automatically go back up have a lot to learn. This is a league full of quality and ambition. As many of the former league teams will agree with. I also dislike the bookies offering odds of 4/1 for Barnet to be automatically promoted. This league is wide open lets see what happens. Also cant wait for our penultimate game of the season where we can get our own back. 11 vs 11 !! Im not bitter ....... much

Businesses like bookmakers wouldn't put personal feelings ahead of commercial decisions. Odds are arrived at through a combination of factors including where the money's going on. The clubs with large fanbases it can be assumed will close up the odds.

In that case I totally agree ironmansimon n for any future team n their fans who are relegated from the football league should look no further than the example of Luton if they think they will easily bounce strait back at the first attempt. Also I feel there's gonna be 1 play off place which will go to a surprise package. Cambridge Luton Grimsby n kiddie will be there but the other place I feel this year could quite easily go to a part time club

A well written article maybe, but I'm not sure his view on the winner is correct. These days it's all about when a player becomes active. How many times have we seen a pass threaded through to a player that is only flagged as offside once he goes for or comes into contact with the ball?
On Tuesday, Chez tried to pass through from midfield to Marksey, but the pass was intercepted by the defender who sliced it past his own keeper. Marksey didn't touch it and I think the assistant got it wrong in signalling for offside and the referee was correct in his interpretation of the laws to over rule him and award the goal.
They may be unhappy about the outcome and the manner of it, but five defeats in their last seven games can't all be the fault of Mr Huxtable.

I agree a good article but still a bit arrogant, maybe Wrexham are a little stunned by their lowly league position and performances so far. They certainly don't seem to have much respect for the Iron or other small part time teams, so for all the blame and bluster at the end of the day as Devo would say, we didn't bow to peer pressure and went one better than our last seasons effort where we drew the game. Just a pub team from Essex? no just a hard working part-time team who have stepped up to the plate and not found wanting. I hope we carry this into this afternoons game against Alfreton. Come on you Iron.
