NATIONAL LEAGUE FIXTURES RELEASED
Braintree Town start with trip to Chester
Next season's Vanarama National League fixtures have been released and Braintree Town start the new campaign on Saturday 8th August with a trip up the M6 to visit Chester. Iron then have two home games to look forward to, welcoming Lincoln City the following Tuesday evening, 11th August, and then Tranmere Rovers on Saturday, 15th August.
As is traditional, more local games have been scheduled for holiday dates. August Bank Holiday Monday, 31st, sees us entertain Aldershot Town at Cressing Road, Boxing Day sees us travel to Boreham Wood, with the return at Cressing Road on Saturday, 2nd January.
Easter is early next year and sees a home fixture against Bromley on Easter Saturday, 26th March, followed by a trip to Aldershot Town on Easter Monday, 28th March. In a repeat of last season, our final fixture will be at home to Altrincham on Saturday 30th April.
The opening day's fixtures are as follows:

In cup competitions, Braintree Town are exempt until the fourth and final qualifying round of what will now be known as The Emirates FA Cup, with that tie scheduled for Saturday 24th October.
