Myself, Kim, and Les Clear have booked up to travel to Galway to see young Simeon play for England on Monday 1st June. Staying the night and flying back next day after a few pint's of the dark Irish Water.
I said to Simeon when we signed him we would get him into England squad, so got to be there to cheer him on.
Macdonald Reason Davis Sparks Akinola
All picked for England over last few years who would have thought that a few years ago.

Hope you enjoy your trip Mr Sheppard, Les n Kym...... Hope the trip brings all that you expect it to!! Hopefully it may turn into a bit of a scouting trip as I understand our Spanish Player is ineligible to play for England........... D'oh!!!!!!

Yes could be scouting a mid field player as Simeon cannot play.

Well, It poured with rain, windy and cloudy. But that's not the bad news. Got to Galway Uniteds ground to find it had no club house and they were not allowed to sell beer in the ground. So stayed in Hotel till 2.30 having a few then got taxi to ground. 1200 yds away as rain was so bad. Watched match. England C were the better team Alex Woodyard got a lot of the ball, Welling Captain Jake Gallanger nearly got sent off for bad tackles. Best player was Aldershot full back jordan Roberts for England C. When you think all the Eire team were mostly with UK Big teams..West Ham Reading Man City Fulham West Brom etc there best player was Lee Desmond of St Patricks Ath, probably their only player on wages like Braintree's team. Simeon did not play due to his passport. but he would have had a field day against the Irish. Nice people the Irish very helpful at all times. Glad we went.

I'm intrigued by all this. Does Simeon have a Spanish passport, then? And didn't the England selectors know?
More importantly, has he signed on yet?

2 more years. So we are not letting him go. (Well not cheaply).
