No surprise at all, much closer to home and no doubt suits him down to the ground. Probably the best place he could have ended up from our perspective as our better players aren't likely to want to follow him down a level. He's undoubtedly an iron legend, good luck to him

No suprise as mentioned above, but must disagree with you braintreeboy with regard to players leaving. I believe Maidenhead have a "sugar daddy" investing in them and with 3 or 4 of the squad London based I expect them to follow Devs especially if there is more money on offer!

I don't think we need money chasers at Braintree only winners. Players who want to compete a the highest possible level are the best type. If some are persuaded to go by a few quid for either need or greed then good luck to them as we want only commitment and winners in the side.
Its going to be very competitive in Connie South amongst the clubs splashing cash.

The reason Devonshire Did not go to a league club is because he cant. he only has a B badge which the highest level is Conference
