This must be the first time nobody has put anything about a league game before and during a match as long as I know on our message board.
Well done lads a great result.
Now let's do the opposite for Telford at Home . GET THE WORD OUT IN THE TOWN.
Me I am putting Poster's up, Giving out leaflets and getting 40 plus adverts on the wireless.
Now come on Braintree snap out of this, and let's get moving on getting people in our TV Live game which is FREE TO ALL

That's better, pleased with the draw, in Gambia took me a while to get result due to a power cut. Getting nearer to the big 51 points.

Yeah Internet issues here Barry, you know Braintree people - backwards at coming forward unless they want a whinge. Looks a good result but since the BBC changed the way they do match commentaries and effectively have excluded people listening on smartphones or Internet radio's, less will follow match commentaries.
Looks a reasonable draw at FGR.
Perhaps someone can report how the game went, I see rustynail has the Braintree & Witham Times report on a different thread.

A lot of people have had internet issues over the last 24 hours, anyway it was a well earned point against an average team, thought we were the better team in the whole game, the no 16 for FGR was the most dirtiest player i have seen for a long while every time Sean had the ball he would pull his shirt every time and got away with it. My MOTM would be Remy Clerima who had a excellent game

Unable to attend the game today, but followed the match on the BBC Sport website while in Wiltshire. Later bumped into some Iron fans at Reading services, and it sounded like we played very well. Whilst in Wilts this afternoon I was approached by a Bristol City fan, upon noticing the Braintree badge on my coat. He had been at the Bristol Rovers v Braintree game (supporting us of course!)and one of the first things he said was "How come no one has come in for your No. 15!"
Regarding the Telford game I have put up a number of posters and had a very positive response from people. Usually when we have a big game I try and drum up support and people seem interested but you doubt they'll come. This time I have had over 20 "definitely coming" promises. Just image if every supporter was able to drum up those kind of numbers! Please do what you can to spread the word for this game....and then work on getting them back for another game.
I think it would be very beneficial on the day to give a 4 page handout to everyone that attends, with forthcoming fixture details, and a rundown on club facilities, where the bar, shops and food outlets are etc. so that they can get the maximum out of their visit and help to entice them back. They won't all buy a programme and we can't assume that they will know that much about the club to begin with.
I know Barry is looking for help with handing out leaflets in the town centre. If you can spare some time please come forward and make the most of this opportunity to do your bit for your club.

I hope you told the Bristol City man that No15 has plenty of clubs coming in for him, but as he's under contract it'll take a six figure fee to compensate for him. No one would want to lose a quality player, but I know it's not the clubs policy to hold a player back from fulfilling their potential and aspirations. So it's understandable that when a player leaves, he goes on the best possible terms for both the player and the club.
